A gorgeous, sunny day of golf at the Tustin Ranch Golf Course was a memorable one for Cal Lutheran sophomore Nick Friend who fired off a hole-in-one on the third hole of the day to highlight the round against Chapman in a dual-match this afternoon.

Kashani Knocks Off Ranked Opponent

On a beautiful Tuesday afternoon, the Cal Lutheran men’s tennis team hosted No. 27 Christopher Newport (Va.), challenging the Captains to a 6-3 defeat while Dara Kashanigot a win over a ranked opponent at No. 2 singles.

Red Hot Crusaders Sweep Kingsmen

After nearly three weeks away from home, the Cal Lutheran men’s volleyball team returned to Gilbert Arena where they squared off against NAIA No. 10 Clarke (Iowa) on Monday night. Winners of 12 straight matches, the Crusaders stayed hot with a 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-16) sweep over the Kingsmen.

Barnes Brings in SCIAC AOW Honors

Announced on Monday afternoon by the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC), Alexa Barnes of the Cal Lutheran women’s track and field team was named Athlete of the Week based on her performance at the SCIAC No. 1 Multi-Dual meet on Saturday.

Regals Split Doubleheader with Poets

After two big Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) victories against Redlands yesterday, the Cal Lutheran softball team traveled to Whittier for another pair of games on Sunday afternoon. The Regals opened the day with a 10-6 win before the Poets edged CLU 3-2 in the night cap to split the doubleheader at Palmer Field.

In the first Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) dual meet of the season, the Cal Lutheran men’s track and field team defeated Caltech 102-43 while falling to La Verne 122-38 on Saturday afternoon at Ortmayer Stadium.

Regals Sweep Opponents at SCIAC No. 1

In the first head-to-head conference meet of the season, the Cal Lutheran women’s track and field team swept its slate of opponents on Saturday, downing Caltech 139-12 and La Verne 102-59, at the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Multi-Duals No. 1 at Ortmayer Stadium.

Regals Rally Past Bulldogs Twice

Entering the day, the Cal Lutheran softball team was looking for its first win of the season. After a SCIAC series against Redlands, the Regals walked off with a 5-4, 10-inning game one victory before earning a 7-6 win in the night cap today at Hutton Field.
