Hunter Horn

Volleyball

Hunter Horn led the Kingmsen volleyball program to its first win in history with a 3-0 sweep over Moorpark College on Friday night. The senior outside hitter finished tied for a team-high with nine kills on an exceptional .583 hitting percentage and started the match 8-for-8 to help CLU get off to a quick start. Horn also added four digs and one assist. Earlier in the week, the Kingsmen faced Santa Barbara City College and Horn led the Violet and Gold with 14 kills while adding six digs.  


Andrea Brackpool

Softball

In a two-game sweep against Hope International, senior Andrea Brackpool went 4-for-5 with five runs batted in to lead the Regals at the plate. After missing last season due to injury, the Saugus, Calif. native has not missed a beat to start 2016 and is hitting .778 (7-for-9) through four games to start the year. In the first game against the Royals, Brackpool racked up four hits, including a double, scored two runs and drove in four. In the nightcap, the senior outfielder hit a sacrifice fly to add to her RBI total and helped CLU to a 7-5 win.
