Coltrane Powdrill

Basketball

Coltrane Powdrillwas instrumental in guiding the Kingsmen to a title at their own Thrivent Financial for Lutherans Tournament with a pair of victories to improve to 10-1 on the season during a 2-0 week. In those two games Powdrill averaged 18.5 points per game with 6.5 rebounds per game, adding four overall blocks and three steals to his total. At the free-throw line he was 9-for-10 and from the field he shot 58.3 percent. In the tournament championship Powdrill poured in 25 points with eight boards and a block to help the Kingsmen remain undefeated at home this winter.


Haley Hodgson

Basketball

For the second consecutive week CLU went 1-1. Haley Hodgson had a standout week, recording a personal best 14 points in a loss to UCSC on 6-for-11 shooting. On the week she averaged 11 points per game, after contributing eight against Worcester Polytechnic, going 4-for-7 from the floor. She added 10 total rebounds, five in each game, with an incredible total of seven on the offensive end of the court. Additionally, she grabbed three steals and handed out a pair of assists for the Regals. On Monday against WPI she earned the fifth start of her CLU career.
