Jeremy Sulker-Hall


In three non-conference games, Jeremy Sulker-Hall came off the bench to provide 17.7 minutes, 10.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game during a 3-0 week. He shot 80 percent from the floor, going 12-for-15, including a 5-for-6 performance against UCSC to lock up a weekend sweep in the SCIAC Classic. On Wednesday against St. Katherine the junior was 4-for-5 from the field and 5-for-6 from the line for a season-best 13 points. In the same game he matched a season-high six rebounds as well. Overall, he totaled eight free-throws, also handing out an assist and coming away with a steal and has instrumental in the success of the Kingsmen on the court this season.

Sofia Cruz


Sofia Cruz played nearly all 80 minutes of action in two games this week for Cal Lutheran. The freshman scored 12.5 points per game with 6.5 rebounds per game, adding three steals, two assists and a block. From the field she shot .529 percent with nine baskets, including a three-pointer in her only attempt from long range. At the line she was responsible for six successful free-throws as well. In a tough loss to La Verne she played 38 minutes, notching a 6-for-8 performance from the floor to tally 14 points, her second best total this season, while she came down with a season-high eight rebounds against the Leos and nearly recorded her first career double-double for the Regals.
