Kylie McLogan

SCIAC Athlete of the Week

Kylie McLogan was named the NCAA Trinity Regional MVP last weekend after guiding the Regals to a 3-0 run through the tournament and earning a berth into the Elite Eight. In three matches, McLogan had a double-double in every game, totaling at least 17 kills and 13 digs per contest. In match one, McLogan spearheaded the Regals 3-2 comeback victory after being several points away from elimination. The senior outside hitter had 18 kills offensively to go along with 17 digs. In the second match, McLogan notched 17 kills and 13 digs as CLU defeated UT-Dallas 3-0. In the Regional Championship match, McLogan saved her best for last, tallying a game-high 20 kills and 19 digs in a 3-1 victory over host Trinity. Just 20 kills away from breaking her own single-season record at CLU, McLogan will lead the No. 3 Regals against Clarkson (NY) in their upcoming Elite Eight game.

Jack Duncan

Men's Soccer

Jack Duncan helped CLU nearly knock off No. 1 seed Trinity in last weekend’s first round of the NCAA Tournament. The First Team All-SCIAC keeper came up with a career-high 14 saves against the Tigers and essentially kept the Kingsmen in the game. Though the Kingsmen fell  2-0, Duncan finished the season with 125 saves which is good for third all-time at Cal Lutheran. Duncan also helped CLU to its first ever SCIAC Post Season Tournament Championship and ended a 15-year NCAA Tournament Appearance drought.
