2008 Kingsmen Football Preview
The California Lutheran University football team has opened up its fall practices and enters the 2008 season as the defending SCIAC Co-Champions. Last season was CLU's second SCIAC championship, coming 10 years after its first in 1997.

Gilbert Tennis Courts Coming Soon
Construction on the Gilbert Tennis Courts, six new tennis courts to be housed at California Lutheran University are now under construction. The new $750 thousand facility is being put in alongside the outfield of Ullman Stadium off of Overton Court.

Roy Dow was named as the new head coach of the California Lutheran University women's basketball program. He comes to CLU after six seasons at the helm of the men's basketball program at Caltech.

Matt Lea was promoted by California Lutheran University as the new head coach of the men's and women's cross country and track & field programs. Lea served as an assistant coach for the track & field team for the past two seasons at CLU.
StoryWater Polo Lands Four on All-America Team
The California Lutheran University women's water polo team had four players named to the 2008 ACWPC (Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches) NCAA Division III All-America Team on Wednesday. Katie Windsor and Meredith Butte were named to the first team, Joy Cyprian was named to the second team and Jill Jensen earned honorable mention.
